Pay Equity with Alison Mau

What does pay equity really mean? And how can companies get closer to achieving it?

In honour of 125 years of suffrage in Aotearoa New Zealand, Alison Mau led a series of conversations with Kiwi leaders about where the struggle for gender equity is today and what we can do to advance further.

I was honoured to speak on their panel about achieving pay equity. Before we started the panel though, the What Women Want team asked each of us to speak about the change we want to see in the world—click below for the video clip:

Then we headed out onto stage in front of a live audience for the discussion on pay equity, facilitated by Alison Mau. My co-panelists were Bev Cassidy-Mackenzie, Golriz Ghahraman, and Lizzie Marvelly — so as you could imagine, it was a lively conversation.
